Well this is it.  My first Masters trip is upon us.  Several people in the office this morning have said things to me like "wow - are you excited about going to the Masters?" or "You are SO lucky to be going to the Masters!"

So am I excited about having to entertain Mike at his every whim?  Am I excited about the possibility of having to clean up messy bathrooms that have been used by a bunch of dudes?  Am I excited about having to run full speed between 4 different houses to make sure everyone is fed and happy?  No. I am not.  People think I'm going to sit on a rocking chair on the front porch of some stately Augusta home sipping a mint julep.  Reality looks more like me hiding in the basement doing a shot of tequila to keep my sanity.

But there are some things I'm looking forward to.  Looking forward to our road trip up to Augusta with Frank and Selena.  That has "good times" written allllllll over it.  Any time I get to spend with them is always fun.  Then I'm looking forward to Selena and I being so deleriously tired that everything will be funny to us.  And I'm looking forward to grabbing an unused ticket for 30 minutes, getting to the golf course to buy sweet Pa Brill some Masters swag.  I'm looking forward to returning to the Augusta Marriott each night for some peace and quiet after very long days.  And the last thing I'm looking forward to is the drive home!  Looks like we might be driving through the night on Sunday - which is fine with me.  That just means I get home sooner!

So don't bother looking for me in the crowd at Augusta on TV - but think of me and Selena often.  You might want to pray for us.  We can probably use it!

Jesus take the wheel!!!

Mwah.
